Thurgood Marshall Academy pledges to provide students with high-quality instruction in a supportive and effective learning environment. In return, we expect students to do their best to learn. This includes:

• Arriving on time to school every day.
• Attending all classes daily and on time.
• Completing all homework assignments on time and to the best of their ability.
• Participating fully in all parts of the Thurgood Marshall Academy curriculum (i.e., academics, athletics, performing arts, and community service).
• Reflecting the goals of this community through their dress and through their behavior.
• Creating a respectful, positive learning environment through their own actions and their interactions with others.
• Allowing teachers and students to demand the best of them, while demanding the best of teachers and fellow students.
• Following the Discipline Code and presenting no significant or continuing discipline problems.
